Bariatric New Patient Seminar with Dr. Robert Woodbury

All patients seeking bariatric surgery with Dr. Robert Woodbury and his team, Allen Cortez MD, Danielle Daye NP, Randi Naquin NP, and Shannon Todd NP at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital and the Sutter Bariatric Clinic must start by attending one of the free online patient education seminars.  Due to COVID restrictions all seminars listed below are held via Zoom, online.  Check back throughout the year to see if they will resume at a physical location.

At the seminar you will learn about the disease of obesity and the role of surgery in treatment. All the information about getting started with your bariatric surgery program is at the patient education seminar.

Bariatric Support Group

Dr. Woodbury and his team at the Sutter Bariatric Clinic believe strongly that support groups are important to a patient’s long-term health and success after bariatric surgery. As such, they recommend participation in regular support group meetings.

Sonoma County Weight Loss Surgery Support Group: Sonoma County Weight Loss Surgery Support Group is an independent group of patients who are either awaiting, considering, or have already undergone bariatric surgery. Throughout the year there are interesting guest speakers from on informative topics.  Dr. Robert Woodbury and his team attend regularly as guest speakers and for open forum questions at the end of the Zoom meeting.
